CAPE TOWN - The Manenberg Community Policing Forum in Cape Town has condemned the killing of a 5-year-old boy in an alleged gang shooting.
Amier Abrahams was walking with his father to a nearby tuckshop in the area on Monday when a stray bullet hit him in the head.
He was taken to hospital and succumbed to his injuries Wednesday.

Two women were also caught in the crossfire while sitting in front of a house on Irvine Street.
Three suspects have been arrested after being linked to the incident.
"This is senseless indeed and we condemn this violent act. We are now busy with the root cause of what has taken place because we cannot sit and say unemployment is the cause of this and distance ourselves from finding out the real issues that's taking place within Manenberg," said Manenberg CPF chairperson, Vernon Visagie.
