MK Party appoints regional working team to stabilise Umgungundlovu

DURBAN -The MK Party has appointed a regional working team to stabilise the Mgungundlovu Region in KwaZulu-Natal.
Friday afternoon the party announced its top 8 in the province and its regional structures.
However, for the Umgungundlovu which forms part of the second-largest region in the province, the party says it cannot yet appoint a structure.

The region is also known to have faced a lot of factional conflicts.
“The Umgongundlovu region the decision of the national officials on recommendations of the provincial working team is that we don’t we should not appoint a regional detachment, we should instead appoint a regional working team which going to do work of stabilisation of the region" said Party Secretary General Floyd Shivhambu.
Shivhambu says changes will be made once there is stability in the region.
“Until such a time the ground is matured enough to could appoint a regional detachment.”
