JOHANNESBURG - Build One South Africa (BOSA) leader Mmusi Maimane says President Cyril Ramaphosa must present a realistic plan detailing how the 7th administration will use its budget to improve the lives of South Africans.
Maimane has been sharing BOSA's expectations for the upcoming State of the Nation Address (SONA), scheduled to be delivered by the President on Thursday.
He has voiced concern over the excessive government spending on funding political activities, rather than using those resources to serve communities.
"On Thursday, the president must choose: fund the political elite or prioritize South Africans. We cannot afford bloated government, excessive international missions, and wasteful spending while failing to provide for the poor."
