Gogo Maweni's bail extended as trial date confirmed

Traditional healer Makgotso Mofokeng, widely known as Gogo Maweni, briefly appeared at the Protea Magistrates Court on Tuesday. Her trial date was set, and the case was postponed to 16 March 2025. Maweni was arrested in January in connection with an alleged 2019 assault case, where she is accused of attacking an individual with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
