Chidimma Adetshina's mother granted R10,000 bail

CAPE TOWN - The mother of former Miss SA Finalist, Chidimma Adetshina, has been granted bail of R10,000.

Anabela Rungo appeared in the Cape Town Magistrates Court on Wednesday afternoon.

The Mozambican national was arrested eleven days ago on charges of identity fraud.

The state opposed her bail application, saying she's a flight risk.

It is also the state's case that Rungo broke a number of Immigration Act laws.

While she was granted bail, they imposed strict bail conditions, amongst others that Rungo remains under house arrest.

The case has been postponed to the 8 May for further investigation.
