CAPE TOWN - Postbank will be making more service points available in the Western Cape for Sassa grant recipients who need to switch from the gold card to the Postbank black card.
This comes after Postbank extended the deadline until 20 March.
Initially, the Western Cape had 16 sites, and Postbank has now committed to increasing that number to 70 over the course of three weeks.

Western Cape Social Development MEC Jaco Londt said they are pleased with Postbank's decision.
"This is what we've been calling for after seeing the chaos across the province as Sassa grant beneficiaries try to get their cards replaced. Last week, I said that we were fighting for our fair share of the increased service points. This was because we found that on average the Western Cape Post Bank service points were expected to handle almost 24,000 beneficiaries per site."
