Gauteng Transport MEC says driver behaviour needs to change to make roads safer

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Transport MEC Kedibone Diale-Tlabela has emphasised that driver behaviour needs to change in order to make the roads safer.
The MEC made the remarks while extending her condolences to the families of 16 people who died in a bus crash on the R21 on Tuesday morning.
The passengers were killed after their bus rolled multiple times before coming to a stop on its side.

Forty-five people, including the driver of the bus, were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The Road Traffic Management Corporation said its teams were investigating the crash.
Diale-Tlabela said that road safety was a major issue that needed to be tackled in the country.
