Family of KZN man accused of killing his mother struggling to deal with her death

DURBAN - The family of the man accused of killing his mother in Umlazi say they are struggling to come to terms with what happened to her.

Sibusiso Radebe appeared in the Umlazi Magistrates Court for the murder on Wednesday.

It's alleged he slit his 79-year-old mother’s throat with a knife.

The accused’s brother, Delani Radebe, spoke to journalists outside court on Wednesday.

"He has a violent history because even with all our brothers that lived with him, none of them does not have a scar from being harmed by him. Not so long ago, he beat someone in the area, which led to the community to also beat him up."
