Cape Town Carnival attendees say it exceeded their expectations

CAPE TOWN - Cape Town Carnival attendees say the festivities have exceeded their expectations.

The city’s CBD transformed into a vibrant display of diverse cultures and colours on Saturday.

A variety of musical performers, artists, and dancers captivated and entertained spectators throughout the event.

Speaking to EWN, some attendees shared their thoughts on their carnival experience.

“Definitely a success it's definitely exceeded my expectations, I didn't know it was going to be this busy. I think the carnival was successful and I can’t wait for the next one. The performers were amazing," said one attendee.
