CAPE TOWN - Postbank says it's satisfied with the progress made with the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) card migration process.
The entity says it has replaced almost 1.4 million SASSA gold cards with its new black cards since September last year.

The gold cards stopped working last week Thursday, and social grant beneficiaries can no longer use them to withdraw money or buy at retail stores.
Grant recipients who have not made the swap are urged to access Postbank sites such as Shoprite, Checkers, Usave, Pick n Pay, SPAR or Boxer stores.
"The most important thing that needs to be noted is that even those that have not migrated to the black card as yet, should rest assured that they will be paid their grant come the next payment cycle," said Postbank spokesperson, Bongani Diako.
