JOHANNESBURG - Controversial Pastor Paseka "Mboro" Motsoeneng said that his grandchildren experienced psychological distress due to ongoing custody disputes between their maternal and paternal families.
Mboro made these remarks following his appearance at the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court on Tuesday, where he faces charges of kidnapping, possession of an unlicensed firearm, and trespassing.
The charges are linked to a viral video, in which Mboro was seen wielding weapons at his grandchildren’s primary school, allegedly due to custody disputes in the family.
Mboro said that his grandkids needed psychosocial assistance.
"Losing your mother and your grandparents fighting, beating your father, together with you. So no one cares about these because they're Mboro’s grandchildren."
