CAPE TOWN - The four men implicated in the missing case of German tourist Nick Frischke are set to appear before Wynberg Regional Court in Cape Town on Friday.

The tourist has been missing for more than two years now, after allegedly being robbed while hiking in Cape Town.

When the group of suspects last appeared in court, an investigating officer testified that Frischke may have been stabbed during the ordeal.

Igshaan Fisher, Vanroy Petersen, Carlo Guenantin, and Melvin Guenantin face various charges related to Frischke's disappearance.

It's the State's case that the alleged gang members robbed the tourist of his personal belongings, including his cellphone and backpack.

Police detective Dudley Truter previously told the court that Melvin Guenantin had agreed to turn State witness.

Melvin Guenantin claims he witnessed Fisher stab Frischke in the back while the 22-year-old was hiking along the Hangberg trail in Hout Bay on 14 February 2023.

Melvin Guenantin, who was found in possession of Frischke's cellphone, alleges the German tourist could not walk properly after he was stabbed.
