Cape Town has experienced heavy rainfall, which resulted in the temporary flooding of low-lying roads.
The municipality said that its teams were deployed to various areas to assist with clearing drains and sweeping of roads after the flooding had subsided.
Urban Mobility MMC Rob Quintas urged residents and road users to be vigilant, and to report incidents to the city.
"The system may take time to drain, similar to pulling a plug from a full bath, but flooding usually subsides within an hour of the end of the rains. As rain continues, residents are urged to report flooding incidents on 0800 65 64 63 or by emailing transport.info@capetown.gov.za."
