JMPD arrest 4 in connection with Yeoville murder

JOHANNESBURG - The Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) arrested four male suspects linked to a recent murder in Yeoville.

The men had been on the run for several days following the crime, which took place earlier this week.

JMPD says the arrests were made possible through collaborative efforts between various law enforcement agencies in the city.

Spokesperson Xolani Fihla says investigations are ongoing to ensure the suspects remain behind bars and face justice for their actions.

"The JMPD commends the swift action and dedication of the TRU and the IIOC Monitoring and Surveillance team in bringing these suspects to justice. The investigation is ongoing, and the JMPD will continue to work closely with the SAPS to ensure a thorough prosecution of this case."
