JOHANNESBURG - The African National Congress (ANC) has praised the newly appointed leadership in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) for hitting the ground running.
Earlier in 2025, the ANC's national leadership reconfigured its KZN executive committee following a poor electoral showing.
A provincial ANC task team has been set up in the province with the party's elder, Jeff Radebe, leading the pack.
Speaking on the sidelines of the KZN High Court on Monday, ANC national spokesperson Mahlengi Bhengu-Motsiri said they were happy with the progress to date.
"We are working very hard to come back. You would have seen in this province new leadership that has entered. They have been embarking on cleaning campaigns, they have not just been discussing politics, they have been a doing a lot of community development work in a very short amount of time since this time was inaugurated.
