JOHANNESBURG - Police are investigating the cause of a fire that tore through a residential property in Pretoria.
Firefighters were dispatched to the complex in Moreleta Park and found a house engulfed in flames on Sunday.
They managed to extinguish the blaze, and no injuries have been reported.
Tshwane EMS spokesperson Lindsay Mnguni said the cause of the fire is still unknown.
"The firefighters immediately began with firefighting operations and brought the fire under control at about 15:53. They continued to douse the fire with water to cool it down as it had been intensively hot. The fire was completely extinguished at about 17:11. The second house within the unit was not affected by the fire and there were no injuries that were reported on this incident," said Mnguni.
