Suspect in disappearance of Aserie Ndlovu & Zodwa Mdhluli was a driver for Mdhuli family - police

JOHANNESBURG - One of the suspects arrested in connection with the disappearance of journalist Aserie Ndlovu and his partner Zodwa Mdhluli was employed as a driver for the Mdhluli family.

It's understood that Samuel Mogongwe, who appeared briefly in court on Tuesday, could be the mastermind behind the couple’s disappearance.
Ndlovu and Mdhluli were last seen in February this year in Mamelodi, east of Pretoria.
After meeting with the affected families on Wednesday morning, Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola told the media that the police had made five arrests in this case.
The suspects will appear in court on Wednesday, facing additional charges of house robbery and possession of stolen property.
"The three suspects that have already appeared before the KwaMhlanga Magistrates Court on charges of possession of suspected stolen property as well as kidnapping. The other two suspects are expected to appear today and will be joined by the other three that appeared yesterday."
