JOHANNESBURG - The case against five men accused of the murder of rapper Kiernan Forbes and celebrity chef Tebello Motsoane has been postponed to next month.
The suspects appeared briefly in the Durban High Court for the first time since the matter was certified trial-ready
Forbes and Motsoane were killed on Durban’s popular Florida Road in February 2023.

During Thursday’s proceedings, two of the defence lawyers were not present due to other commitments.
National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) Natasha Ramkisson Kara says the pre-trial conference will continue next month.
“So by agreement, as mentioned by the prosecutor in court today [Thursday], the matter has been adjourned for the 12th of June 2025 for a pre-trial conference.”

The group is charged with conspiracy to commit murder, two counts of murder, five counts of attempted murder, unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition and money laundering linked with the double murder in February 2023. @_NMabaso
