Omotoso was recently cleared on rape, sexual and human trafficking charges.

Community members and Omotoso supporters are gathered outside the court.

Timothy Omotoso’s church members are protesting, alongside members of their choir dressed in orange uniforms and singing in his defence.

African National Congress (ANC) and Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) supporters and other community members are also singing but calling for omotoso to be deported.

He is yet to appear in court for contravening certain provisions of the immigration act.

Earlier on Monday, the media was told that journalists would not be allowed in court, however, this has since been changed, and reporters are now being allowed to listen to the proceedings but not broadcast or film them.
