Tyla to host Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards

JOHANNESBURG - Tyla, the Grammy Award-winning South African music phenomenon, is once again pushing the envelope.
The singer, whose real name is Laura Seethal has been announced as the host for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in 2025, the first African to do so.
The widely acclaimed ceremony is set to take place in Santa Monica, California, on June 25.
The Water hitmaker is also nominated for Favourite Global Music Star and Favourite Music Collaboration for Show Me Love, a song by WizTheMc and Bees & Honey that features Tyla.
She is no stranger to the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards; in 2024, she had nominations for Favorite Breakout Artist, Favorite Global Music Star, and Favorite Viral Song.
