EC police seek info that could lead to arrests after three people murdered in Ngcobo

JOHANNESBURG - Eastern Cape police are appealing to communities to assist them with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects who shot and killed three people in Ngcobo.
According to preliminary investigations, the victims were murdered at a family gathering on Thursday, while they were mourning the death of another relative.
Two other family members were caught in the crossfire and were left wounded.
Provincial Transport MEC Xolile Nqatha said that police would not rest until the suspects were arrested.
"Police are working diligently to find and arrest the individuals responsible for this heinous crime. On behalf of the provincial government, MEC Ngata extends his condolences to the grieving family and wish a swift recovery to those who sustained injuries," said a spokesperson.
