JOHANNESBURG - Outgoing Hawks head Godfrey Lebeya will be honoured in a ceremony on Friday to mark the end of his term.

A man of many titles - advocate, doctor, Lieutenant-General Godfrey Lebeya will be celebrated on Friday night in a black tie event in Pretoria.

Special guests have started making their way into the Batter Boys Guest House in Montana, where Lebeya is expected to share details about his highs and lows while heading up one of the police’s top units.

While Friday's event is expected to be celebratory, Lebeya still has his final address to make and questions to field on Saturday before the media.
