Pre-trial hearing into AKA, Tibz murders postponed to July
Five men accused in the high-profile murder case returned to the Durban High Court on Thursday for a pre-trial hearing.

DURBAN - The pre-trial hearing into the murder case of rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes and entrepreneur Tebello "Tibz" Motsoane has been adjourned to July.
Five men accused in the high-profile murder case returned to the Durban High Court on Thursday for a pre-trial.
The matter could not proceed due to some outstanding issues in the case.
Forbes and Motsoane were killed on Durban’s popular Florida Road while leaving a restaurant in many in 2023.
KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Judge President Thoba Poyo-Dlwati said the accused would remain behind bars.
"The matter then, Mr Mkhwanazi, Ndimande, Myeza, Gwabeni and Ndimande is adjourned to 24 July 2025 - you must be here by 9:30 and you will remain in custody."
