JOHANNESBURG - Two Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) officers have been killed in Tembisa.

EMPD said the pair was on night duty when they were attacked by criminals in Umthambeka Section on Thursday night.

The criminals allegedly robbed the law enforcement's service pistols before fleeing the scene on foot.
