CAPE TOWN - Cape Town Tourism is hopeful that its recent international recognition will attract more visitors and deliver real benefits to local communities.
The organisation scooped three silver awards at the 2025 International Tourism Film Festival Africa, held in Johannesburg last week.
The winning videos - Pass the Love with DHL Stormers and Love Cape Town, Wonder2Wonder, and Limitless Cape Town - celebrate the city’s vibrant energy, diverse culture, and breathtaking scenery.
Cape Town Tourism's head of global communications, Briony Brookes, said the visuals go beyond aesthetics as they tell real, authentic stories.
"We’re so proud to see Cape Town stories making waves globally, it’s not just about beautiful visuals, it’s about real connections and real people, and showing off the spirit of our amazing city."
