Bus crash death toll involving EFF members revised to 10

DURBAN - The KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Department of Transport has revised the death toll of an accident involving Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) members to 10.
The group was travelling from Umlazi when the accident occurred near Vryheid.
Earlier on Tuesday, authorities said 12 people had died in the accident.

But after an investigation, the department now says the accident claimed the lives of three women and seven men.
"The number is 10, those who have perished, we just want to be emphatic on that point, and we want to apologise for the inconvenience in terms of preliminary stages," said KZN's Transport MEC, Siboniso Duma.
He said some of the families are yet to be informed about the tragedy.
"It remains a sensitive matter because we’ve not even met almost all the families."
