Grade 11 pupil stabbed and killed by schoolmate outside the Lesedi Secondary School

JOHANNESBURG - A grade 11 pupil from Lethabong in Pretoria East has been stabbed and killed by a schoolmate outside the Lesedi Secondary School.

According to the education department, the matric pupil did not attend school on Tuesday, but he waited for the grade 11 at the gate before attacking him.

Education Department spokesperson Steve Mabona says the victim was taken to Lethabong Clinic immediately.

"The victim was rushed to a nearby health facility, where he was sadly certified dead on arrival. This case is being investigated by the police."
