MPUMALANGA - The official programme for the funeral of late former deputy president David Mabuza is underway.
Mabuza, who died last Thursday will be honoured in a state funeral category two in Mpumalanga.
He was 64 years old, when he suffered what his family has only described as breathing complications.
The remains of Mabuza arrived at Hoërskool Bergvlam after a short and intimate prayer service at home.
He made his way via the R40 from Barbeton to Mbombela, a route he travelled often.
Mourners here include Limpopo premier Phophi Ramathuba, Gauteng premier Panyaza Lesufi, EFF leader Julius Malema, and UDM leader and defence deputy minister Bantu Holomisa.
