JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg residents are being warned to prepare for water disruptions, as parts of the city are expected to be without running water for up to four days.
Rand Water will carry out planned maintenance on its O2 pipeline from Monday to Friday.
The maintenance will affect several areas in the metro, including those supplied by the Sandton and Midrand systems and the Alexander Park, Linksfield and Randjieslaagte reservoirs.
Johannesburg Water spokesperson, Nombusi Shabalala, said that residents should expect low water pressure or no water at all.
"Johannesburg residents are reminded that Rand Water will be conducting maintenance at its Palmette system from the 15th to the 18th of July 2025. During this period, residents may experience low water pressure to no water."
