CAPE TOWN - The community of Hanover Park is reeling in shock after the murder of a 75-year-old woman in the area.
Police said the woman's son, who works night shift, found her on Wednesday morning when he returned from work.
While police were busy combing the scene earlier, a group of residents gathered in front of the woman's house to vent their frustrations.

The angry residents say they don’t want to take the law into their own hands but want to put pressure on the police to do their jobs.
Community leader, Mansoer Arendse, believes the perpetrators are from the area.
"They took two mountain bikes, R6,000 in cash and some silver and gold but it’s definitely people from the area because they know her son works night shift, and he buys silver and gold, and the community is very furious."
