JOHANNESBURG - The bail application for the mother of slain 11-year-old Jayden-Lee Meek is set to resume on Friday.
Tiffany Nicole Meek’s lawyer, Novel Naidoo, is expected to continue with cross-examining State witnesses.
Meek, who has been linked to the murder of her child, has maintained that she is being framed.
During the proceedings earlier this week, the Roodepoort Magistrates' Court heard some shocking details about what detectives found in the apartment where Jayden-Lee and his mother lived.
Meek claimed that her son failed to return home from school on 13 May.
A day later, his bruised body was discovered.
Investigating officer Nceba Diko has revealed that the child’s school bag, which allegedly went missing, was found in his mother’s apartment.
But Naidoo has maintained there are a few inconsistencies with the various accounts of the day the child went missing up until his body was found.
