CT police probing murder of teen outside Mfuleni township high school

CAPE TOWN - Cape Town police are investigating the murder of a 17-year-old learner outside a high school in Mfuleni township.

Police responded to a shooting incident at Inkonjane Street on Wednesday afternoon, just after school.

They found the body of the teenage boy lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest.

Police spokesperson FC van Wyk said the gunmen are still at large.

"The victim was declared deceased at the scene by the medical personnel. The motive for the attack forms part of the police investigation. Anyone with information about this fatal incident is kindly requested to contact Crime Stop at 08600 10111 anonymously."
