3 men due in court after arrest on a range of charges in Khayelitsha

CAPE TOWN - Three men are set to appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrate's Court on Monday following their arrest for the possession of an unlicensed firearm, ammunition, drugs and stolen items over the weekend.
The trio was arrested in Khayelitsha after police searched a suspicious vehicle with the three occupants at the weekend.
Police spokesperson FC van Wyk: "Upon searching the vehicle, the members found a firearm, six rounds of ammunition, eight mandrax tablets and seven presumed stolen cellular telephones inside the vehicle which the occupants could not give account for. They were arrested and detained at Lingelethu West SAPS."
