JOHANNESBURG - The case against a Johannesburg mother accused of forcing her four-year-old son to smoke drugs has been postponed again.
The four accused, one woman and three men, will now return to the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on Thursday for an address verification.
They’ve indicated an intention to apply for bail.

The group has been in custody since their arrest in July on charges of child abuse and attempted murder — both Schedule 5 offences that make bail difficult to obtain.
Monday’s proceedings were brief, lasting only a few minutes, but still drew anger from disgruntled community members outside court.
Many said that they’re frustrated by the further delay in seeing justice for the child victim.
"We are really saddened by the fact that this matter has been postponed to Thursday. We really want justice, and we want justice immediately. I personally feel that the justice system is failing us dismally."
The State has already said it would strongly oppose any bail application, citing the seriousness of the allegations and the vulnerability of the child.
The boy is still in the care of social workers, who continue to monitor his recovery.
