JOHANNESBURG - The judicial commission of inquiry into Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) cases said it will make an official call for submissions from the public within the next 10 to 14 days.

It’s been given six months to complete its work and is expected to travel to several provinces for hearings, similar to the TRC.
Spokesperson Lionel Adendorf said the submissions from the public would inform the commission’s next move in terms of travel.
"I need to make it very clear – this is not a rerun of the TRC, the commission has a very particular purpose, and we will be guided by the submissions that we have received and the need then to move around."
