More witnesses expected to take the stand in Lusikisiki mass murder trial

LUSIKISIKI - The Mthatha High Court in the Eastern Cape is set to call more witnesses on the stand on Thursday morning in the Lusikisiki mass murder trial.
On Wednesday, two witnesses completed their testimonies about the brutal attack, where 18 people were shot and killed in Ngobozana village in September.

Six men have been accused of the mass murder and face charges, including conspiracy to commit murder.
For the first time since the trial got underway last week, the court heard testimony about the brutal Ngobozana village killings.
One of the witnesses is among those who survived the killing when gunmen stormed their home and opened fire.
She gave full testimony while in tears, recalling the violent incident that claimed the life of her only daughter, Ruth King.
She said the last memory she has of the night is her child crying for help before being shot.
Meanwhile, another witness, whose wife was killed in the attack, said the incident left him with trauma.
New witnesses are set to take the stand in the matter to give their accounts of the ordeal.
