The live show Three Generations: One Stage, celebrates legacy, passion and the power of music at the Artscape Theatre on 15 and 16 August,
The performance features Mtshali-Jones, alongside musical director Bheki Khoza and musician Mabongi Thusi.
Also sharing the stage is Kujenga, the dynamic jazz band that is defining the local and international music scene.

Mtshali-Jones will be highlighting music from women who have inspired her from her life, from her village, to the first moment she listened to the radio, and even the likes of Miriam Makeba.
“In the village where I grew up [Buthelezi]… where Princess Magogo (daughter of Zulu King, Dinuzulu kaCetshwayo) was born… I used to listen to her singing. She was absolutely amazing.”
