2 men killed in suspected Mitchells Plain gang shooting

CAPE TOWN - Two men have been killed in a suspected gang shooting in Rocklands, Mitchells Plain.

Police responded to complaints of a gun fight on Viscount Street on Thursday night, where the bodies of two victims were discovered.  

Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg said officials were investigating two counts of murder.  

"According to reports, a black and grey vehicle stopped next to the victims and the occupant started shooting at the victims before fleeing the scene. Both victims were declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel."
