KZN horror crash death toll rises to 6 after truck driver body found

JOHANNESBURG - The body of a truck driver has been found following a fatal crash on the N2 between Amatikulu and Dokodweni in Kwazulu-Natal, bringing the death toll to six.
The driver had been missing after his truck collided with a light motor vehicle on Friday, pushing it off the road.
Rescue teams declared the five occupants of the car dead at the scene.
The provincial transport department said the truck driver was later found trapped inside his vehicle.
Spokesperson Ndabezinhle Sibiya said the truck driver was declared dead after his body was recovered from the wreckage.
“The death toll from this horrific accident that took place between Amatigulu and Dokodweni has increased to 6. The MEC has expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased”
