CAPE TOWN - Investigations continue into a shooting incident that left a 16-year-old boy wounded in a shooting on Saturday evening.
Police in Bishop Lavis are investigating a case of attempted murder after they attended to a complaint at the local day hospital, where the victim was pointed out by medical staff.
Police spokesperson, Wesley Twigg, said the victim sustained gunshot wounds to his back.
"The circumstances surrounding a shooting incident on Saturday evening, 16 August 2025, at about 20:30, in which a 16-year-old boy was shot, and wounded are under investigation."
