JOHANNESBURG - Members of the E-hailing Partners Council of Gauteng are set to march to the province's transport office to hand over a memorandum of demands.
The group said its march followed a number of failed attempts to have their issues resolved.
These matters range from safety concerns, fair price setting and the alleged impoundment of their e-hailing vehicles.

The drivers will be marching to the transport MEC’s office, as well as the provincial legislature to hand over their demands.
The representative’s chairperson, Henry Mathebula, said their previous attempts to get the transport department to address their issues had failed.
"We wrote to them on the 11th of February, 2025. The coordinator acknowledged our complaint. However, two months down the line, we were trying to check what will be the process, what is happening because we were not getting any communication and we were not getting any responses. I had to call the chairperson of the portfolio committee, Gregory Schuman."
Mathebula said they would be giving officials seven days to respond to their demands.
