WC cops make drug bust worth almost R1 million
Members of the Anti-Economic Crime Task Team pulled over a suspicious vehicle and upon searching the car, they found a consignment of drugs.

CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police have arrested a suspect in possession of drugs worth R800,000.
The arrest took place yesterday in Koeberg Road near Milnerton.
Members of the Anti-Economic Crime Task Team pulled over a suspicious vehicle and upon searching the car, they found a consignment of drugs.
Members then found cocaine at the suspect's residence.
The police spokesperson, Frederick C van Wyk, explained: “The members also seized cash believed to be the proceeds of crime. The drugs are estimated at a street value of R800,000. The suspect was detained at Milnerton SAPS [South African Police Service] and will make his court appearance in the Cape Town Magistrates Court.”
