DURBAN - The KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) transport department said that authorities are still searching for the truck driver believed to be involved in a horrific crash that claimed the lives of four people in the province.
The incident took place on the N3, near Bergville, where six other occupants of a minibus taxi were injured.
The KZN transport department has since launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
Department Spokesperson Ndabezinle Sibiya said that the minibus taxi was traveling from the Eastern Cape to Gauteng when the crash occurred.
"The MEC has confirmed that there is an investigation that has been launched to ascertain what could have been the cause of the accident that resulted in the death of four passengers, and six passengers were injured."
