On Thursday afternoon, mourners gathered at Madia’s home to remember her not only as a respected journalist, but a daughter of the Germiston community with a great impact.
Family spokesperson Mahlatse Mahlase said, "We know that this is a shared loss because Tshidi loved what she did, and she loved her colleagues, and she extended herself to her colleagues.”
Madia survives a generation of journalists and audiences whose lives she touched.
