Speaking at a briefing on Friday, Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa stressed that the end of load shedding is imminent.

"There will not be loadshedding in terms of our summer outlook. We are no more within touching distance, that’s the word i was using. We are touching it, the end of loadshedding. So touching distance and touching it, those are two different things."
