CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police are investigating the murder of a 32-year-old man in Lotus River, Cape Town.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting on Saturday and discovered the victim’s body at the corner of Woodville Road and Second Avenue.
The man had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead on the scene.
Police spokesperson Malcolm Pojie said no arrests had been made at this stage.
"It is alleged that the deceased was walking along the street when a vehicle stopped next to him and an occupant opened fire on him. The suspect/s is yet to be arrested. We appeal to anyone with information about the incident to contact Crime Stop via MySAPS mobile application, anonymously."
