The Springbok Women are back in the country following a successful Rugby World Cup.
The team arrived on home soil on Tuesday.
They may not have brought home the coveted silverware, but the Springbok Women enjoyed a successful run to the quarterfinals.
The Bok Women produced their most successful campaign, scoring a total of 19 tries and progressing to the knockout stage for the very first time.
Coach Swys de Bruin and his players have laid new foundations and set a new standard.
"It's now onwards and upwards, I would say, that's the key. But there's definite structures in place, which excites me a lot. I'm very excited about how we're going to grow women's rugby."
It's hard to disagree with De Bruin, as it appears to be an exciting time for women's rugby in SA.
