Iconic local fashion retailer Foschini is marking its centenary this month, celebrating 100 years of dressing South Africans.
Founded in 1925, the brand has grown into a household name and a cornerstone of the country’s retail landscape.
"They are celebrating with some interesting collaborations with local designers."
- Bianca Resneko, Style & Design reporter
According to Foschini's Robyn Wenlock, the centenary celebration is as much about the future as it is about the past.
She teased a capsule collection co-designed with a globally-recognised South African fashion designer, an award-winning musician, and a well-known screen actress.
The goal? To bring runway creativity into everyday wardrobes, while keeping the brand’s signature accessibility intact.
Shoppers can expect to see the special collection in Foschini stores and on Bash.com from 9 October.
In the meantime, consumers are encouraged to keep an eye on Foschini’s social media channels for official announcements and exclusive previews.
The centenary celebration also features significant sales events and engaging in-store experiences.
