Remains of Nathi Mthethwa to be repatriated this week

The body of former South African Ambassador to France and Monaco, Nathi Mthethwa, is set to be repatriated to home soil this week.
Mthethwa's family has confirmed to EWN that authorities have concluded all probing involving his mortal remains.
The 58-year-old died at a Paris hotel last Monday, and the circumstances surrounding his passing remain under police investigation.
The news comes after Justice Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi called for an urgent meeting with senior members of the SAPS over Mthethwa's death.
The Mthethwa family said authorities have now concluded the post-mortem on Mthethwa's body.

However, the full report n the actual cause of death is yet to be released.
Family spokesperson, Sfiso Buthelezi, says they now have full custody of Mthethwa's body.
"Today, the family was given permission to remove the body of Ambassador Mthethwa out of the government mortuary to a government mortuary, and we also received permission to repatriate the remains of Ambassador Mthethwa from Paris to South Africa."
Buthelezi added that they hope the body will be home by Friday.
"We are therefore looking on leaving Paris on Thursday and arriving in South Africa on Friday."
Funeral details are yet to be announced as the family awaits President Cyril Ramaphosa's confirmation on the status of the funeral.
