US rapper Gunna to headline Milk and Cookies Festival in Cape Town, Joburg

Following a sold-out debut in 2025, Milk + Cookies Festival returns to South Africa with US rapper, Gunna.

The multi-platinum hip-hop sensation will perform at Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town on 2 January 2026 with South African DJ Virgo Deep.

DJ Kent will join Gunna at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg on 10 January 2026.

The festival will also include the Milk and Cookies Music Week which includes educational workshops and panels for aspiring music writers and producers.

"We’re here to not only uplift local talent, but to reinforce to the world how South Africa is shaping global culture,” says Chase Freeman, Head of Marketing at Milk + Cookies.

Tickets will go on sale on Howler on Friday, 10 October 2025 at 8.30 am.
